Jesus, however, called the children to himself and said, "Let the children come to me and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Luke 18:16)
Children are a precious resource: a gift from God. SS. Peter & Paul offers free childcare for parishioners in the Nursery (Room 1) and adjacent playground (weather permitting) during the following Sunday Masses: 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM and 5:15 PM. Registration is not required.
The Nursery accommodates children ages 2 months to 3 years in a secure and playful setting where Jesus’ love is truly expressed. Loving parishioners provide childcare in a safe and fun environment allowing parents to confidently attend Mass. Each childcare provider plays with and cares for every child, responding with compassion to his or her individual needs.
Parents are welcome to stay until they and their children are comfortable. Parents who worry that their children may have a hard time settling in can sit near the back of the church, making it easier for the childcare provider to locate a parent if their child needs their attention. Moreover, parents with vibrating (silent) cell phones can leave their number on a sign-in sheet in the Nursery in the event they need to be contacted.
